What Okanagan web design agencies charge: 6 of 8 publish no price

We read the websites of eight Okanagan web design agencies on 2026-10-19. Only two publish prices: Purple Pig in Kelowna prices a website on its own, and MIM Marketing in Motion sells one inside a monthly marketing plan. Here is what each one shows, what has disappeared since early 2026, and what to ask for when you get a quote.

If you want a website from an Okanagan agency, you will almost always have to book a call to find out what it costs. On 2026-10-19 we read the sites of eight agencies in Kelowna, Vernon and nearby. Only two publish prices. Purple Pig prices a website on its own, from $1,499 [1]. MIM Marketing in Motion includes a 5-page website in a monthly marketing plan, from $575 a month for at least 12 months [7]. The other six show no website price anywhere we looked.

So if you're comparing local quotes, you can't do it from your desk. Two others that showed prices in early 2026 have since taken them down. Below is what each site shows today, with a link so you can check it.

What each agency shows, as of 2026-10-19

What changed since early 2026

Our earlier notes on these agencies, from early 2026, had three agencies' prices. Two are gone from their sites, and one still holds:

  1. Okanagan Design Co. listed a subscription at $199 to $299 a month. Its site no longer shows it.
  2. Tag Design Co. listed $50 to $99 an hour and hosting at $29.95 a month. Its site no longer shows them.
  3. MIM Marketing in Motion was listed at 12-month contracts from $575 a month. That price still holds: its site shows plans from $575 to $2,575 a month, with a 12-month minimum.

Prices that come off a website don't go away. They move into the sales call, where you can't compare them side by side.

What to ask for in a quote

If an agency doesn't publish a price, ask for these in writing so you can line its quote up against the others:

  1. The total for year one, and the cost every year after. A one-time build and a monthly plan can look alike in year one and come apart by year three.
  2. Who owns the site. Can you move the code and the domain to another host without the agency?
  3. What's included each month. Is it hosting, updates, SEO, or a set number of hours?
  4. How many pages, and what each extra page costs.
  5. The contract length, and what it costs to leave early.

For the same questions answered by builders, national agencies and Mackenzie, see the full price table for small business websites. Mackenzie's answer is US$3,500 fixed for up to 10 pages in two weeks, and you own the code and host it on your own account.

How we collected this

On 2026-10-19 we read each agency's home page and its web design or pricing page. For Lesia Design and Tag Design Co., which had neither, we read every internal page we could reach: 34 and 40 pages. We didn't contact any agency, and none of them paid to be listed. Purple Pig doesn't say which currency it uses. As a Kelowna agency, it's most likely Canadian dollars.

If you run one of these agencies and something here is wrong, or you've published your prices since, email mackenzie@mackenziebowes.com and we'll update the row and its date.
